This is a little article I found and which is very interesting.

What are the Signs of Breast Cancer?
Question: I'm worried I might have breast cancer. What are the signs?
Answer: Often there are no outward signs of breast cancer that you can see or feel. If there are outward signs, the more common ones include a lump, an area of thickening, or a dimple in the breast. Less common signs include breast swelling and redness or an enlarged underarm lymph node.
But even if you have one or more of these signs, it still doesn't mean you have breast cancer. Remember that most breast lumps turn out to be benign (not cancerous).
Still, it's extremely important that you SEE YOUR DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY if you're worried that you might have breast cancer. Having your doctor take a look will ease your worry, and if anything is found, you'll be able to take care of it quickly.
Physical examination of the breast is one way to find breast cancer.

Hey everyone,

This week our school had the pleasure of receiving researchers of the MOI (Mauritius Oceanography Institute) who came to talk about research programs which were going on here around our very own beaches. The chemistry researcher however did inform me after his speech that he was doing research on sponges which have shown signs which could lead to a cure of some cancers.

All this sounds very good and I will try to remain in contact with him and keep you posted about his work

OK so I contacted Link to Life and straight away got involved in their three day donation event where they got licenses to stand outside well known places such as Super U and Store 2000 in Grand-bay to ask people for donations. I was asked to organize a small team of friends to walk around these places with donation cans from 15:30 to 19:00

At first I was not sure that I would be able to find many people to give up their Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons for this as it was such short notice from my part, but with excellent responses I managed to find 13 friends to come and help a few hours every now and then to complete this immense task.
Here is the complete list:

Norman Wooding

Camille Merven
Lisa Kilian
Maneka Rajkoomar
Cirine Dumazet
Talia Dundoo
Kevin Lafleur
Anya Dundoo
Louisiane Bechard
Maxime Piedade
Richard Lienhard
Ophelia Ribet

And a special thanks to Adrien Bacquet
who stayed with me throughout the three
days and spent over 12 hours of his time for
 this truly great cause.

Thanks to all of you, its been three long days but it was sure worth it :)

I am keeping in contact with Link to Life where they will inform me of the total collected and as soon as I know I will inform all of you.
