Hey everyone,

This week our school had the pleasure of receiving researchers of the MOI (Mauritius Oceanography Institute) who came to talk about research programs which were going on here around our very own beaches. The chemistry researcher however did inform me after his speech that he was doing research on sponges which have shown signs which could lead to a cure of some cancers.

All this sounds very good and I will try to remain in contact with him and keep you posted about his work
